MG ZR 160 Pre-Production

This is the earliest known ZR/Z car, pre-production, and still wearing its Longbridge area UOK number plate. The chassis number shows this car having been originally designated as a Rover 25 but after a change in marketing direction became the development MG ZR.

It was used by the works department for testing rally component parts and as the works recce vehicle as driven by Gwyndaf Evans. So, it is believed this car has completed all the European super 1600 rally stages at least three times?
The car currently competes in the Cockshoot championship class B.
