MG ZR 160 5-Door 2004

I originally saw this car at a local MG car meet in Hertfordshire back in 2019 and fell in love with it as I’ve always wanted a MK 2 ZR 160 in Twilight. It wasn’t for sale at the time, so I met the owner and told them if they ever wanted to sell to let me know.
Months past and I got the call I had been waiting for to say the car was coming up for sale!
We agreed a price and she was mine as of the 3rd October 2019.
The ZR is #6 of 10 built in Twilight IAV (Chromactive) under the monogram scheme, as far as we know it the only 5 door 160 currently remaining in the UK on the road.
Since owning the ZR I have upgraded parts such as the facia and interior handles to Black Oak, a Dark Ice clutch cable, new front and rear custom gel badges and new 160 badges.
I have had the roof lining replaced with black Alcantara with the door cards to follow, I have fitted a Cadburys purple steering wheel, leather gaiter and handbrake covers that were custom made.
She has dark ice purple/blue air vents and I have upgraded the seats to Blue Monacos from the factory axis seats.
The car was owned from new by British Legends in Southend and was remapped by KMaps to around 177bhp
I am looking forward to bringing the ZR out to more shows in 2023 and beyond.
