ZED REGISTER Open Day – Kimber House – Sunday 6th October
Here’s your chance to go behind the scenes at the MG Car Club headquarters, Kimber House in Abingdon.
Tour the club building and view the extensive club archive, and browse the large range of merchandise in the club shop.
Some interesting ZED displays will be on show in the club grounds and we’re happy to announce that the guest speaker will be Mark Stacey from Kmaps. Mark was responsible for testing and development of Longbridge factory K series products, which involved prototype track and road development testing throughout the world. He campaigned a VHPD 190 TF in the MG Car Club for several years and is now the official tune supplier to most race cars in action today. Following the demise of MG, Mark went on to form this remap service – with unique expertise in the K series MG Rover tuning world.
A buffet lunch and light refreshments will be provided during the day.
The event runs from 10am until 4pm and is an opportunity for members to meet staff at Kimber House and members of the ZED Register committee.
The full address for Kimber House is 12 Cemetery Road, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 1as. Car parking is available in the car park behind the building.
