Welcome to the Autumn Leaves Run, the last social run of the Tyne-Tees 2024 season. The run this year takes us on a relaxed drive through some beautiful scenic countryside around South Northumberland and County Durham with a wide variety of terrain and of course plenty of autumnal foliage on the trees.

The run is just under 50 miles, starting at Dobbies Garden Centre, Ponteland where you can purchase teas/coffee and if you haven’t had breakfast, food… they do an excellent range of breakfast delights! We aim to start the first car off at around 10.00 a.m. with signing on from 9.00 a.m. The route takes you through some stunning countryside ending up at a very pleasant venue for a two-course lunch near Beamish. Apart from drinks in the licenced bar, the real pre-lunch “aperitif for the motorist” on this event is a guided tour of the Car Barn and the adjacent Aston Workshop.

The cost will remain the same as last year at £25 per person. A tulip style route book (including a map!) will be issued to each driver/navigator.

This is always a popular run and is limited to 30 cars / 60 people. Therefore, a timely entry is highly recommended, as this is one not to be missed!
