Additional Morris Motors chassis codes from 1952-1958
TFs used the Morris Motors standard chassis identification code introduced in 1952. These are additional codes used by Morris Motors some of which are not commonly found on TFs.
For example, an HDH55 code has been seen on the Guarantee Plate of an Irish CKD car, stamped by Booth Bros, the Dublin car assemblers. The third letter H indicates a CKD Finish, the first 5 indicates a RHD CKD car, and the second 5 indicates a Primer finish – all consistent with an Irish CKD completed car.
