Model Guide
Launched in 1962, the MGB Roadster was well received with its monocoque construction and an overhead valve “B” Series engine enlarged to 1.8 litres. A sleek fastback GT arrived in 1965, a Mk II in 1968 and the rubber bumpers with a raised ride height in late 1974. Production ended in 1980.
