MG SVW
Model Guide
The MG SA, MG VA and MG WA models are collectively known as “SVW”, incorporating the SA (2 litre), VA (1.5 litre) and WA (2.6 litre) models manufactured from October 1935 to late 1939.
The SA was available in three versions, the saloon bodied by Morris Motors, an open tourer bodied by Charlesworth and a Drop Head Coupe bodied by Tickford.
The VA was available in three models, a 4 door Sport Saloon, a 2 door 4 seater Tourer as well as a Folding Head Foursome, generally known as a Tickford Coupé by Salmons.
The SA chassis was revamped in 1938 to become the WA. The same three body styles were offered although the Charlesworth tourer was discontinued after only 9 were sold.
