History of Car and any work or modifications carried out: When purchased car had been sitting on a driveway for nearly a decade slowly rusting away. I was tinkering with restoration on and off for about 10 years, with work, kids, and houses always seeming to get in the way.
Following retirement a couple of years ago decided to knuckle down and get the car finished, so many panels, patches, and much welding later finally managed to get it painted in time for Christmas 2022 and spent the following 6 months putting it back together ready for the summer.
I have kept the car basically stock with some sensitive upgrades such as polybushed suspension, larger anti roll bar, alternator etc, while the reconditioned engine is fitted with a stainless LCB exhaust, K&N filters, silicone hoses, oil cooler.
During the rebuild anything safety related (brakes, fuel system, hoses etc) have all been replaced along with a new wiring loom.
Car is finished in a modern Audi white, with new interior panels and carpets along with the reconditioned original seats.
