History of Car and any work or modifications carried out: I found my car while on holiday in Suffolk in 2018. Fairly comprehensive recommissioning work had just been completed and it looked absolutely stunning.
The car was first registered on the 1st of August 1980 by Mr David Campbell who purchased the car from Hall Bros of Musselburgh Scotland. The car spent the next 37 years in the Campbell family ownership but only covered 15000 miles. From 2006 to 2017 it sat in the garage at the family home and was only started on a few occasions by Mr Campbell’s son.
In 2017 the car was acquired by Bridge Classic Cars of Woodbridge Suffolk. They had completed the recommissioning work.
I have carried out further work putting the finishing touches to the car. The remains fairly original and the original Ziebart system appears to have done its job well. Although the addition of a 5 speed Ford Type 9 gearbox has made the car a real pleasure to drive it has still done less than 17000 miles.
