MGCC European Event of the Year

OUR sincerest congratulations must go out to the Caledonian Centre for the phenomenal success of the 2013 European Event of the Year.

Since the event came to a conclusion, we have had an influx of visitors returning home calling in at Kimber House, all of whom had nothing but kind words to say about the celebrations in Aviemore.

MG Car Club President John Day said: “Looking back we all have a lovely lasting memory of the EEoTY 2013 which was executed with style, precision and a wonderful camaraderie unique to the MG Car Club.

“The Caledonian Centre team should be rightly proud of the event, it was the best EEoTY we have attended over the last 14 years. It was superbly organised with calm management, beautiful attention to detail and above all conducted in the spirit of international friendship.”

Chairman Bill Silcock added: “I would like to pass on my personal thanks to the organising team and all those who made Aviemore such a splendid and memorable event. The Caledonian Centre has set a new standard for the EEotY, and I hope others will use it as their benchmark in future.

“I would specially like to thank Bob, Willie and David who put in so much effort over a number of years, and also Janet, Penny and Jackie who supported them so strongly throughout.

“We hope to join you for your spring event next year, and look forward to meeting all of you again then.”
