MG launches its first ever winter check service

As the cold weather, dark mornings and early evenings descend upon the UK, MG has introduced its first-ever winter check. Available to customers at MG dealerships across the country, the new check helps to prepare drivers for harsh winter conditions, improving comfort, safety and visibility.

Carried out by expert technicians in workshops to the highest MG standards, the comprehensive visual check covers 20 vital points across the driver’s car.

For the best vehicle health in cold and dark winter conditions, the battery, heating system and all exterior lights are thoroughly inspected. Technicians test the clutch and brakes for smooth operation, while all fluids, including engine oil and screenwash, are checked and topped up if necessary. For optimum safety and customer peace of mind, the seat belts, steering, suspension and tyre tread depth are all inspected.

The MG winter check is priced at £24.99 and includes a complimentary wash and vacuum. In addition, customers will receive an MG gift bag with plenty of handy gear to see them through the winter season. This includes a de-icer spray, rain poncho, foil heat blanket, demister microfibre cloth, concentrated screenwash tablets and a bug shifter sponge.
