MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save

WITH less than two weeks to go until the start of the 2014 BTCC season, three MG6s lined up on the grid at Donington for media day.

This year Jason Plato and Sam Tordoff will be competing in the MG KX Clubcard Fuelsave cars alongside the independent team of Marc Hynes in his Bifold Quantel MG6. All three MG6 cars will be fighting it out at the front end of this highly impressive looking grid when racing gets under way at Brands Hatch.

Plato already has two BTCC championships to his name (2001 and 2010) and he is also holds the record for the most wins in the BTCC’s history. In the 2013 Season Jason surpassed the 400th race mark in his quest for the next BTCC Championship.

Both Jason and Sam will be driving two brand new MG6 GT cars provided by another principal sponsor; MG. The cars will be made race-ready by the highly regarded Triple Eight Race Engineering team who have over 15 years of experience in the world of motorsport.

The Triple Eight Race Engineering team have an unprecedented 7 drivers’ titles and 7 teams’ titles to their name.
