Despite heavy rain early in the morning, there was still a great turnout for the event.

Triple-M cars had a string of successes at Brooklands in the 1930s, so the Register always receives a good turnout.

The T-Register also had an impressive display of MGs

Grey skies may have kept some visitors away, but the rain held off for most of the day.

Despite falling on the same day as the MGB Register's Spring Run, there was still a fantastic turnout of MGBs

There was a wide range of V8 powered MGs, from this MGB GT V8 to more modern MG ZTs

Arguably the largest turnout had to be the MGF and TFs.

Zed cars were also welcome at the show and had a presence within the grounds.

A great mix of classic and contemporary. Exactly what the Car Club represents.

THIS past Sunday was MG Era at Brooklands Museum, an annual event held on the grounds of the former racecourse to celebrate the best of MG over the years.

Grey skies may have put off some visitors, but over 200 MGs gathered together to create displays, take part in the Cavalcade, Concours d’Elegance and take on the test hill! Photos from the event can be viewed in the above gallery.

Brooklands Museum is an independent charitable trust whose aims are to preserve and interpret the heritage of Brooklands and to use that heritage to inspire and educate future generations. The museum is open seven days a week with plenty of special events held across the year. More information about the museum can be found here.

The MG Car Club will be returning to Brooklands Museum again on Sunday 11th May for the start of the Regency Run. Entry to the Regecy Run is still open and more details can be found here.
