Factory Signs Return to Abingdon

A PAIR of original signs from the MG factory here in Abingdon, have very kindly been donated to the MG Car Club by Wiard Krook from the MG Car Club Holland.

Wiard recently came into possession of the signs, which were part of the original factory site, and personally delivered them to Kimber House whilst visiting England. Club archivist Peter Neal instantly recognised the signs, having worked as part of MGs design team across three decades.

Over the years the Car Club has acquired a number of artefacts from the factory, including a series of line numbers, and of course the ‘MG, Pavlova’ sign on display outside the John Thornley Suite.
