Duckhams Oils gets into gear for MGLive!

The MG Car Club has teamed up with Duckhams Oils for MGLive! 2018, working together to create the new Duckhams Village Green at this year’s showpiece for all things MG.

The iconic oil brand, Duckhams returned to the market with a relaunch at the 2017 Classic Motor Show and has quickly established a relationship with the MG Car Club.

“There’s an awful lot of history between Duckhams, MG and the MGCC,” said the Club’s General Manager, Adam Sloman. “So to form a new partnership is great and we’re really looking forward to Duckhams joining us at MGLive!”

Located at the heart of the event, the Duckhams Village Green will feature a weekend of live music, fun and games, all hosted by Practical Classics editor Danny Hopkins. “Danny has a great rapport with the MG community,” said Duckhams Classic, Motorsport and Industrial Director Martin Gough. “He’s owned Midgets, MGBs and MG ZTs to name just three. He really understands what makes MGs, and MG owners tick and we’re thrilled that he’s going to be our host for the weekend.”

As well as a big weekend of entertainment, Duckhams Oils will be on hand to offer advice and answer technical questions from MG owners. They’ll also be offering a discount on products to MG Car Club members.

“The show is shaping up really well and adding Duckhams support to the village green is fantastic,” added Sloman. “With two days of racing on the Grand Prix Circuit, the California Cup Autotest , Autosolo, Pride of Ownership and Concours, there’s loads to do at Silverstone, and that’s before you think about the Saturday night After Hours Party, the traders, the Lifestyle Marquee and the 1000s of MGs on display!”
