British Motor Museum announce MG related events in the New Year
The British Motor Museum is gearing up to run a full schedule of motoring shows and events in 2021. At least 17 are being planned for 2021, including the return of several popular MG events.
2021 will also see the return of the ‘Gaydon Gathering’, a free monthly evening gathering aimed at motoring enthusiasts. The first gathering took place on 13 October 2020, it will return for 2021 taking place on the second Tuesday of every month starting on 13 April. Pre-booking is essential. Those that attended the event in October will be given priority booking and will be contacted by the Museum prior to tickets being released for the general public to book.
Shows include the Historic Rally Club Register Open Day on 10 April and Mogfest on 10 July.
There are also various large car club meetings held throughout the year including the World Cup Rally 50+1 Anniversary on 18 April, the MGF 25 + 1 Anniversary on 24 & 25 July, the EV Electric Vehicle Festival on 8 August and the MG Event on the 2 October.
The Museum will continue to monitor the Government advice and keep visitors informed of any changes. In line with the Museum’s new policy, all visitors and exhibitors to any of the gathering/events must pre-book tickets and provide contact details so the Museum can fulfil its NHS Test and Trace commitment and so that they can be contacted if there are any changes to the show.
Tickets for most of the shows/events are now on sale and more information about these can be found at www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/events
