Bill Wallis Wing: Update 13th January

The John Thornley Suite has a gaping hole in it! Yes, the builders have finally smashed through downstairs, and the realisation of the archive extension is here. The shelf tracks have just been installed this afternoon, and the roof tiles from a section of the old building have almost been replaced.

When walking around taking pictures and looking at the work in progress, you can begin to imagine what it will be like when it’s complete – and for MG fans, there will be no place quite like it. Kimber House has been a great attraction for fans of the marque to come and visit for a number of years now, and with the extension added to it, there will be even more reason to come and take a look.

With windows being fitted, and plasterers due within the next week, updates will begin to get more and more interesting over the next month, so keep an eye out on the website.
