9th June 2014

Sealed auction for charity.

The Macmillan Midget, fondly known as the ‘MacMidget’ will be making its final show appearance with the MG Car Club at MG90.

The MacMidget joined the MG Car Club family in 2012 and was vinyl wrapped in MGCC and Macmillan Livery in February 2013 in order to drive the extra mile for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Since then the MacMidget has attended shows up and down the country, taken part in a variety of Road Runs and been driven by a London 2012 Olympian!

Sadly though it is now time for the MacMidget to move on from Kimber House and find a new home.

The MacMidget will be going on sale in a sealed bids auction, complete with the exciting graphics.

MG90 visitors will have the chance to view the car on the Macmillan stand, and members of the Midget Register, who have regularly maintained the car, will be available to answer any technical questions about the MacMidget.

The Macmidget, which was awarded the Midget Register’s car of the year for 2013, will have a reserve price of £6,000. All profits from the sale will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Offers will be accepted for a two week period after MG90, with the closing date for sealed bids being July 5th.
