Peter Couch and Cancer Research

The sale of RV8 badges made a modest profit and John and I decided to donate £100 of that to the Cancer Research fund in memory of Peter Couch who, sadly, died recently and was cremated last week.

At last Friday’s Needham natter everyone raised their glasses and drank a toast to Peter, then John and I announced the £100 donation and asked for additional contributions from everyone in the pub. Our generous fellow members handed over a most impressive £110, bringing the total to £210. Not bad for one night! Then at Snetterton on Saturday a further £60 was donated bringing the total so far to £270. All in 3 days!

So everyone, will you please donate as much as you can to this very worthy cause in the name of a much loved and devoted MG enthusiast Peter Couch?

Unless I receive other suggestions I would like to keep this project going and announce the final tally on December 12th at the Burblers Xmas lunch. And who knows? We may even be able to keep it going after that. This will all be done in the name of the Anglia Centre of the MGCC. Donations can be paid to me (email me for details) or given to Natter leaders.
