October in MG history
In October 1930, Morris Garages formally assigned the lease of the Pavlova Leather Works to the MG Car Company Ltd. The MG Car Club has owned the sign that’s pictured for a number of years, something which is still situated at the rear of Kimber House. It was restored by the T Register with help from John James, who saw it as a vital piece of memorabilia that serves as a tangible reminder of the factory’s existence.
