Bill Wallis Wing: Update 7th January

There have been some huge developments since the last Bill Wallis Wing update on the 19th December. The roof is very near completion, the coving for the windows has been installed, and the old office where our Finance Secretaries have been sat now has an opening ready for a door. Downstairs in the John Thornley Suite lies a temporary stud wall as work continues on the other side that will house the main archive.

Work has now begun inside Kimber House to move old office items and stationary through to other rooms in preparation of the builders knocking through the existing walls – something we have been told will be happening soon.
