MG confirm GS UK debut

With the Shanghai Auto Show set to kick off on Monday, MG Motor have confirmed the SUV will arrive in the UK in the final quarter of 2016. 

The GS is set to be the centrepiece of MG’s Shanghai show, however MG were keen to point out that the show car will not represent the UK market car with changes to the engine and gearbox all due before the it arrives here.

Quarter Four of 2016 should see the GS hit MG showrooms in time for the September ‘plate change – a traditionally busy time for new car sales.

MG’s first SUV began life as the CS Concept, first shown two years ago at the Shanghai Show. The car has been designed by Anthony Williams Kenny and is currently undergoing final development in Britain.
