Enter our AutoSOLO for all MGs at the MG Social, Gaydon
MGCC are running a Clubman’s AutoSOLO at Gaydon as part of the MG Car Club Social on the 9th October 2021 at the British Motor Museum.
Run on a smooth tarmac surface, this event is designed to encourage those perhaps new to AutoSOLOS to have a go at this most affordable form of motorsport, not least the Young Members Branch of the Club. Open to any MGCC member in any MG, experienced or not!
The tests will be forwards only, no stop start or reversing, with a flying finish before a final stop astride line where you must stop to collect your marked timecard. You will be given three runs at each test with the fastest two runs to count towards the results. The emphasis is on driver skill rather than memory or outright speed, although drivers can elect to carry a navigator if required. The course layout, a combination of numbered gates, slaloms and easy turns, is designed to suit all MG cars. The event runs from 10:00am until 1:00pm on the 9th October.
