MGCC set for Donington double

This weekend (20th and 21st July) will see the MGCC return to Donington Park for two days of non-stop action.

With British Motor Heritage supporting the weekend as headline sponsor, it’s set to be a fantastic weekend for motorsport fans and MG enthusiasts.

A packed programme will see races from the Lackford Engineering MG Midget & Sprite Challenge, MG Trophy, the Cockshoot Cup, Iconic 50s and the Drayton Manor MG Metro Cup.

Saturday will also see our friends from Equipe GTS take to the circuit for their ever-popular three-hour relay, boasting a selection of fantastic FIA sportscars battling it out on one of Britain’s best-loved circuits.

The action continues on Sunday, when the Club’s championships return, this time joined by another legendary British marque in the form of Morgan. The Aero Racing Morgan will compete in two races on Sunday, in huge day of racing that also includes action from the SRCC Sports 2000 Racing Championship. Equipe return on Sunday too, this time in the form of a 40 minute Sprint race. Rounding out the day will be MG Cup, sponsored by Peter Best Insurance.

There’s also the chance for MGCC Members to get their cars on the track, with our ever-popular lunchtime Circuit parades, organised, as always by the ZR/ZS/ZT Register.
