2019 BTCC 6s debut       

The wraps came off the 2019 British Touring Car Championship MG6s at today’s BTCC Media Day, held at Brands Hatch.

Now under the stewardship of Excelr8 Motorsport, the two cars have been made over with a striking Union Jack-themed livery for Rob Smith’s car, while team-mate Sam Osborne’s 6 seemingly takes inspiration from the iconic MG XPower ZS of the early 2000s with its green and black paint job.

Both cars took part in the afternoon test-session, with Rob Smith lapping the faster of the two, recording a time of 48.883.

The first meeting of the 2019 BTCC season will be held at Brands Hatch, on the Indy Circuit on the 6^th and 7^th of April.
