Tyne-Tees Centre supports all MG Car Club members across Northumberland, Durham, Teesside, East Cleveland, the Tees Valley and parts of North Yorkshire.
Tyne-Tees Centre celebrated itsGolden Jubileeduring 2022, having become a full MGCC Centre in December 1971.
The Centre won the prestigious Nuffield Gold Cup in 1983 and 2009.
We provide a comprehensive and wide-ranging programme of events throughout the year, some with a sporting theme, cateringfor all MGs from 1924 to the current models. Tyne-Tees members are regularly out and about in MG cars from 1932 to current models.
In 2024 we will hold monthlyClub Meets or “Natters”, for members across our area, to which all are very welcome. Details of what’s happening can be found by clicking on Club Meet Information on the left of this page.

Our monthly email newsletter “Tyne-Tees Tidings”, sent to all Tyne-Tees members and friends, has full details of all upcoming Events, Natters and Breakfast Meets.
This Centre has a very active Committee whose aim is to enable you to get the very best enjoyment from our events, and of course,driving your MG car!
Ourfour major road runs, Cobweb Run, Prince Bishops & St. Cuthbert’s Run, Tyne-Tees Old Speckled Hen Run and Autumn Leaves Run, are very popular and attract entries from far and wide.
To help celebrate 100 years of MG cars, Tyne-Tees Centre provided key support to the MG Triumph 100 event at Silverstone in June 2023, running the GP Circuit Parade Laps and the California Cup Autotest. We also supported an MG100 NE celebration display of MG cars by all the local MG clubs at Beamish Museum in August 2023.
We mounthighly attractive MG car displays at major events such as the Historic Vehicle Rally at Newby Hall, near Ripon and Croft Circuit for Croft Historic Festival.
