History of Car and any work or modifications carried out: The car has been heavily modified by the previous owner and since then has been systematically overhauled and further developed by Pete’s father Geoff, an ex Abingdon MG development department technician.

This Midget has been developed by Team Clark Racing (Geoffrey & Peter Clark) over a number of years for competition in Sprint & Hill Climb events. The car is driven by Peter in the MG Car Club Speed Championship in the Group 4 Specials class (Motorsport UK Modified limited production cars Motorsport UK S10.10.3). In 2017 the car was awarded MG Midget Register car of the year and in 2018 it was featured in the MG Car Clubs magazine Safety Fast and appeared on the cover of the November issue. The car has completed at Goodwood* (sprint), Rockingham* (sprint), Abingdon (sprint), Llandow* (sprint), Prescott (hill), Gurston Down (hill), Silverstone (sprint), Curborough (sprint), Shelsley Walsh (hill), Castle Combe (sprint), Eelmoor* (sprint) & Rushmoor* (sprint). *Current class record holder.
