History of Car and any work or modifications carried out: Bought by my late father in May 2006, apparently just to use. It wasn’t long before he began altering & improving things & things developed from there. Because I see such work as a means to an end, I think it took me a long time to appreciate that for my father, the work & all that went with it, was what made him tick. He already had a very nice MGB GT V8 (To this day with only 51000 miles on it), that he gave it to me in 2003. He said it was too fast for him but that’s down to the driver & I now think it was because it needed nothing more than maintenance. He later admitted that of the cars he owned, the V8 was his favorite (More so than his Frazer Nash Le Mans replica or Lotus Elan Sprint). Ffwd to 2019 & the Midget was a tad moribund & when my father suffered a heart attack, I suggested he let me finish the outstanding work. He agreed but the following year, just as the car was completed, he was diagnosed with cancer & died 6 months later. He asked me to look after it.
