History of Car and any work or modifications carried out: Beginning of the 1990s I used to live in the UK and when a friend of mine restored this MG Midget with only 38,000 miles on the clock I couldn’t resist and bought it from him. Registered PWL589M I used it for a few years as a daily driver and took it with me when I repatriated to Germany in 1995.
Since then it has not been in daily but in regular, dry use and has now done close to 80,000 miles. I’ve taken it abroad a few times but mainly enjoy taking it for a ride after work or at weekends, preferably along some windy roads! Lovely little car!
Modifications carried out: inertia-reel seat belts, Moto Lita steering wheel, unleaded head, rear Spax shock absorbers, lumenition optronic ignition. Otherwise it’s fairly standard.
