Midget & Sprite Challenge

The Midget & Sprite Challenge is the only exclusively ‘Spridget’ race series in the UK. With the backing of the well known Classic Car restoration company, Lackford Engineering, we have created THE home for racing Midgets and Sprites.

Our structure of four classes reflects the different specifications that Spridgets have raced over the years, and we welcome all historic body styles.

Fully modified –  based on classic Modsport rules
Race modified – making them very cost effective race cars
Road modified – race engines and suspension but treaded tyres
Historic – for cars which meet the FIA historic regulations

We aim to encourage all drivers, from Novice to Expert, who relish close racing and the challenge of a traditional rear wheel drive sports car. Above all, we aim to provide serious racing on track but a friendly and fun approach off track.

We would like to invite all enthusiasts to come and look at our cars and say ‘hello’ to the drivers. Maybe you will decide to join us!
